Required USB Music File Info

I like to play my favorite songs in my coupe using a 32G thumbdrive. I formatted the drive to FAT32, then added folders with the artist's name. I then added the applicable artist's WAV music files (yes, I store them as WAV's on my PC when I rip them from CD's - I have a huge PC HD), but the artist name does not show on the CUE screen when the drive's music is playing, unless I add the name to the song title. What is the proper organization of the music files on the thumbdrive in order for the CUE screen to show the artist name on the 1st line and the song title on 2nd line (I don't care about the album name or the icon showing)?
