I am sure they will start production early April. They have plenty of orders placed but none have a TPW yet. Dont order the Vector Blue or yo wont see that thing for a long time!
Sorry to hear that! I do however understand not letting people test drive these cars, as everyone would love a quick "Joyride". I hope you went to a standalone Cadillac dealer and not one sharing a lot with GMC or Chevrolet??Just stopped at the Cadillac dealer to inquire about the ATS-V.
Not a first good impression..
First salesperson did not know anything about the car.
Next sales manager said that he is taking deposits on the car.
He did not know the price or production date.
I asked him when he expects first cars in, as I would like a test drive one before buying.
He said that because car will be a limited addition there will be no cars available to test.
He also said that the dealer policy is not to give a test drives on such an expensive cars as after no customer would buy one with additional millage.
To that I told him that I would never buy a car without first buying one especially expensive one as ATS-V.
Than I walked out of the dealer.
I was not impressed with the attitude of the sales manager and I will be checking other dealers in Montreal area.
I would just go somewhere else. I have got one ordered for myself and I still have no idea when they are going to build it!! I work for Cadillac and I still dont know. They said the plant startup daye was June 1st, but my order has not moved through at all.Unfortunately here in Montreal we don't have a dealer that only sells Cadillacs.
I told the sales manager that i'm a serious buyer and that I presently own CTS-V.
He gave me an impression that he simply didn't care.
May be that is why the sales of CTS and ATS cars are down.
