Hello All,
I recently had some upgrades done on my Black Raven ATS-V. I had custom catless down pipes installed and a custom Pro Tune then had the car put on chasis Dyno results were 536.7 RWHP and 550.0 FTLB of Torque.
Some debate as to what Crank horsepower would be many say it is about 15% of loss from the crank to the rear wheels if that is so I have approximately 617 horsepower at the crank. Not to shabby for a little 220 cubic inch V6. Friend who I purchased the down pipes and tune from has same car 8 speed auto with same mods ran 11.35 123.94 at drag strip in New York. Just thought you might be interested.

Nice power Al. Where did you get the tune done from? I didn't know any one cracked the code to tune these things yet? Also did the tune help you hear the turbos more?
HI
My name is Dereck and I'm with IPF Tuning and we have cracked the code with the 2016 ATS V we are currently working on a cool air intake with tuning to give the best results. We have one on the dyno as we speak.
Best regards

P.s. I will keep you up to date with testing and dyno results

That is great! I cannot wait to see what kind of gains you are able to get out of an intake. I know that some have seen actual losses when putting an intake on the Hellcat, so lets see if the ATS-V is the same.

Hello every one, I'm looking for a factory stock air filter box (just the bottom housing) if not the 2 piece top and bottom for the ATS-V to buy. If any body has done a cold air intake and want to sell there stock box let me know please, thanks.

No concern. They will void warranty if you tune. There are documented cases on the forums.

For those that are sketch seems no way to hide the tune either but not 100% sure on that as software can change over time.

You have to pay to play. Just like other platforms.

Resurrecting an old thread.....AL did you ever have any issues from these changes.....did anything ever happen with warranty concerns? Wanted to hear an update about how things might be working, and noticeable change in dynamics over time.

Guys.......................I know more RWHP is good for the soul but there is not a car manufacturer on this planet that will not void your drivetrain warranty in a New York second when they detect that the code has been altered on your ECM.........and they will detect it........you can't hide it.

And lets be real here.......they should.

Get a copy of the warranty manual from Nissan for their 2016 GT-R...............they make no bones about dropping the full warranty if you even think about modifying the car.

The reason Cadillac only rated the LF4 at 464 BHP and 445 TRQ is because that is all the head gaskets and crank main bearings can take and GM to still honor its warranty.

Boy how things change................Since I posted this I have had my car tuned and outfitted w/ down pipes and an exhaust.

I hope I am dead wrong re my last statement above in my OP because as far RWHP is concerned my ATS-V is now what one of my daughters calls "sick".

Yes....I know............my drivetrain warranty went bye-bye.
